At A.T.P.R Training Center,

ATPR's annual driver training program, organized in collaboration with the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA), the Rwanda National Police (RNP), the Ministry of Infrastructure (MINEFRA), the Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA), and the City of Kigali (COK).

About training center

The Purpose of the Training

The primary goal of this annual training is to develop professional drivers by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. For the past five years, ATPR has been conducting this training in December, providing drivers the opportunity to learn together and address challenges they encounter in their daily work.

WHAT WE OFFER

Training Focus

During the training, we cover various important topics, including

Traffic Rules and Regulations

Drivers receive instruction on adhering to traffic rules such as respecting zebra crossings, observing speed limits, and following traffic lights.

Vehicle Maintenance

Drivers learn the importance of consistently checking the condition of their vehicles, including engine oil levels and other maintenance aspects

Personal Development

The training offers guidance on how drivers can make positive changes in their lives, such as saving money and planning for their future.

Ethics

Drivers are taught how to handle conflicts with passengers and how to deal with challenging passenger behaviors in a professional manner

Appearance and Presentation

Drivers are advised on the importance of personal appearance and the upkeep of their vehicles to maintain a positive image
